The upgrades at Shabumeni are now complete and the Outpost is ready to go for this summer season! We are so excited to be able to offer this amazing lake to our guests once again. It was always such a popular fishing lake, but the cabin just was too small and in serious need of upgrading. The addition, deck, fish-cleaning house, and dock are now complete and look awesome!

The addition features nice, big windows facing the lake, a bar, a sitting area with a futon, and a nice and spacious dining area. We closed in the old porch and made it into a nice bedroom and added more counter space in the kitchen. 

Outside the cabin, we now have a large deck overlooking the water and sand beach. The deck has seating all around and a gas BBQ. The fish-cleaning house is brand-new as well as the 100-foot floating dock. 

We still have openings for this summer if you are interested in trying a new lake (or visiting an old favourite). This 13 mile long lake features moving water and outstanding Walleye, Northern, and Perch fishing. It is 88 air miles Northeast of our base.
