Weather Reports | Cold Snap Hits NWO
Jan. 1, 2015

After most of December being very mild, we entered a deep freeze shortly after Christmas. We’ve had severe temperature warnings most days. Cars will only start if they’ve been plugged in overnight. We’re experiencing lots of wind as well. It is starting to feel a little like last winter with the record-breaking lows, however we are definitely lacking on the snow!

Last year around this time not only did we have extreme low temperatures, but we also had 2-3 feet of snow on the ground. By February it was closer to 4 feet! This year, there is only about 7 inches to date; a lot less snow-plowing and shoveling!

Hopefully this cold snap ends soon. It's definitely a good time to be away; preferably somewhere hot, but for us we are away at sports shows. There is not a lot to do around home when the weather is like this as most of our work takes place outside.
