Things are looking good!! We've had some very warm weather lately and the ice has been deteriorating fast! The last two days were very warm and EXTREMELY windy. This took the ice down a considerable amount. The ice fishing shacks are off the lake and the airplanes are coming off the ice tomorrow already. Wayne and Chris have wrapped up their work at the outposts and all minnow traps are pulled. The ice has broken up around the shore and it is now just a waiting game. With lots of warm weather in the forecast, it shouldn't take long before we have open water on our lakes. We are way ahead of last year, that is for sure!
