Good news all around! Edward Lake is practically ice-free and Cedar will be in the next day or two! Below are pictures of Cedar Lake taken today, April 28th. The airplanes are back in the air and minnow trapping is well underway. It's time to get the minnow tanks full so we are ready for opener! Last year it was an absolute scramble on opening day as we took the minnows straight from the airplanes to the delivery trucks barely filling our orders. Despite a little dump of snow last week, this spring has been great so far. The forecast for this week is nothing but warm temperatures and sun!
