The freezing cold temperatures have finally risen! The brutal lows that we were having started to mellow out over the last week or so and yesterday we were above the freezing mark! You could definitely say that it is unseasonably warm and we've even had some rain. The little bit of snow that we have is settling even more. The lakes are excellent for travelling right now and we have on average about 24 inches of ice on most lakes. The conditions are really perfect for winter activities and especially ice fishing! The dampess, fog, and freezing rain put the flying on hold for us, but we are not complaining. This weather beats the freezing cold and deep snow that we experienced last winter.
