New Year's Eve for the Clark's was celebrated with some friends and family fishing in the ice shack in front of K.C.'s Landing Resort on Edward Lake. We caught enough Walleye to have a fish fry on New Year's Day. While fishing on New Year's Eve our friend, Jennie caught this beautiful 27" Walleye. Of course, after getting a couple of pictures we released it.
While fishing on New Year's Day in the afternoon, Jennie's husband, Greg caught this big Walleye! It almost looked like the same fish from the day before. We figured it was about the same size.
We fished again the next day and their son caught this nice Walleye. Not quite as big as his parents', but still a beauty. You just can't beat fishing in a heated ice shack with good company... and keeping a few for dinner is always a nice treat!
